What We Publish
Fiction: Short stories, novellas, novels, sci-fi, mythology, fantasy and creative narratives.
Non-Fiction
Self-help, biographies, political/historical works, travelogues, satire, memoirs.
Poetry
Collections of poems, ghazals, and lyrical works across styles.
Translation & More
Hindi translations and original literary works that stand out creatively.
Publishing Guidelines — The Writer House
Prepare a typed manuscript: Submit in MS Word (Unicode/Mangal preferred). Handwritten drafts must be typed before submission.
Error-free manuscript: Please proofread your manuscript. While our editors review it, a cleaner version speeds up approval.
How to submit: Email MS Word or PDF to editorial@thewriterhouse.in. Postal submissions not accepted.
Include:
- Short stories: 2–3 complete stories + summaries for others.
- Novels: First 30% or 50 pages + 200-word synopsis.
- Non-fiction: 2–3 chapters + outline & summaries.
- Poetry: Around 10 sample poems.
- Bio: A short author bio (education, experience, etc.).
Response: Acknowledgement within 48 hrs. Poetry review: ~10 days; others: ~4 weeks.
Publishing time: Once approved, editing & design may take 6 months.
